Fluke 2042 cable locating set comprises a transmitter and receiver in a hard carrying case. The transmitter connects to the cable / metal pipe to be traced and sends a carrier signal containing a user-selected code. The non-contact receiver detects the signal and displays the code. Additional transmitters are available to allow multiple cables / pipes to be traced and identified. Both live and dead circuits can be located.
